The Resource Center connects youth, families, and community members to prevention materials and local support services. Our goal is to make it easier to find the information and assistance available in Raleigh County.
Family Support Services
The relationship between stress and substance use is well-studied. Our goal is to decrease family stress and support families in making healthy decisions. Through our family support infrastructure, we address needs at all stages of life — from our Baby Pantry to our Healthy Grandfamilies initiative.

Mondays: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Wednesdays: 10:00am – 6:00pm
The Baby Pantry is available to caregivers of children aged three years or younger.

Availability of larger items depends on community donations. We cannot guarantee specific items.

Clothing is available to families during drop-in hours. Availability depends on the generosity of community donors.
Families in need may access hygiene and basic household supplies during center drop-in hours.
Available items may include:
Household items may also be available for families moving into homes with limited belongings.
A free initiative supporting grandparents raising grandchildren through education, resources, and follow-up services.
Our HGF group meets the third Thursday of every month.
Community-supported resource boxes providing food and hygiene items at accessible locations throughout Raleigh County.
